A native of California’s Central Valley, she began writing and performing in cafés as a teenager. With degrees in theater and music from UC Santa Cruz, Nola brings vintage flair to her shows, often performing in period attire with her signature blend of piano and voice.

Voice Over Actor
Dianne Nola’s character work earned her recognition in the competitive world of voice over. An audio engineer and client heard her ability and urged her to audition where he worked at a major computer game company. That break led to a steady flow of projects and a growing reputation built on word-of-mouth. After years of dedication, Nola finally secured representation with Stars, San Francisco’s top-tier talent agency, where she focused on voice over work and became a respected voice in the regional market.
She voiced all the female characters for the award-winning Warlords Battlecry III, played The Director in Telltale Games’ cult-classic Sam & Max, and was the voice of the computer in Hollywood Pictures’ Judge Dredd. Her credits also include work for Scholastic and numerous educational and entertainment CD-ROM titles.
In the early days, she auditioned at studios throughout the Bay Area. As the industry evolved, she built her own home studio, recording and editing projects independently. Today, she draws on that experience as host and producer of her own podcast.
